Essie French Affair, Trying out the square look

I’m not sure where the inspiration came from but suddenly it was time to go square! My nails are normally slightly rounded but I find it easier to grow a bit of length with this nail shape. The trick is to keep the nails fairly short and barely reaching over the tips of the fingers. File straight across (I love my OPI glass file)- and voila! It’s going to take a minute to get the pointer and middle finger to straighten out their attitude- but it’ll happen! What do you guys think? (p.s.) I’ve shown this color before, it’s Essie’s French Affair. I’ve been loving the light pale pinks lately.

My mom had it on her toes last weekend in Arizona! It’s gorgeous. I wish I had picked it up when I saw it at my local beauty supply! My best friend bought it so one day I might borrow hers (or bite the bullet and buy my own;)

What a pretty pink color! I love pink. They definitely dominate my nail polish collection! Which thanks to your inspiration is growing quite large!! :-) I keep my nails squared too. I like the look of them. I don’t know if they look more professional? I don’t know. I’m not sure if you’ve mentioned this one but I bought Orly’s Fancy Fuchsia and it’s soooo pretty. Gorgeous for summer!!
