Nail of the Day ~ Rouge Burnt Buns!

RougeBurntBuns
I’m really loving today’s manicure! I started off with all nails painted with 2 coats of Rouge by American Apparel.  I noticed how pretty and office appropriate it was, but something was definitely lacking. I’m half over the accent finger being the more traditional ring finger, so I opted for my pointer (/index) and middle finger!  I just love the splash of China Glaze’s Burnt Buns on top.  The difference between the two is quite obvious- go ahead and try it yourself!  Just cover up the first two fingers (Burnt Buns on the left) and you’ll be able to see how soft and dusty Rouge is.  Now cover up Rouge and see how sparkly and flashy Burnt Buns seems to be!!  Yet, when I wore this as an actual manicure, my eyes mended it all together to be a cohesive look.  I’m obsessed!  The only way I’m taking this one off is for a similar concept.  I’m trying this subtle texture differences look again… right now!  Hope you guys like this, have a lovely evening. Can’t wait for my next duo!

Those are really pretty colors! Great for the spring. I would love to get my hands on the polishes from American Apperal. I’m def a huge China Glaze lover great nails!

  3. Love it! I did something similar the other day! I’ve never really liked the accent finger, so I went along the lines of this only with 2 blues (of course) and loooved it. Great minds think alike it seems!
