The sparkle party continues! Today’s manicure starts off with Wet’n'Wild I Need A Re-Fresh Mint. I’ve worn this color before and raved about the formula and brush (once you get used to it, it’s rounded edges are fantastic!)… what an amazing, inexpensive find. I decided to pair OPI’s Crown Me Already on top. I think this is one of the best ways to use what you have in your collection, pair them in new ways!
I applied one coat of each polish. Lovely!
Any other Megalast colors from Wet’n'Wild I should check out?
xxoo

So cute! You should definitley check out “On A Trip” from the wet n’ wild megalast collection! It’s so gorgeous!
Love wnw i need refresmint with revlon whimsical too and sugar coat too!!
Could you PLEASE do a tutorial on how to remove glitter polish? I love glitter polish looks, but avoid putting them on because of the furstration when removing it. Thanks in advance. BTW I Love your videos. Short, Simple, To the POINT. and REAL.
Thank you!!! I would watch a few on Youtube, I would be showing you exactly what everyone else does! I use 100% acetone from the beauty supply store, hold the cotton on my nail for at least 15 seconds and wiggle off… if it doesn’t remove, hold longer!
The easiest way to remove glitter polish is to take a cotton ball and nail polish remover with acetone in it and put it on your nail them cut 10 pieces of aluminum foil and wrap each piece on your nail. I wait about 5 minutes and just pull it off with even pressure not too much and most of the glitter comes off. Then just take the same cotton ball or a different one whatever you choose and remove the rest. That is the easiest way I have found it really does work try it:) If this was a horrible explanation then check out MissChievous on youtube look through her videos and you will find a video that says remove glitter polish in seconds! Nail trick that is where I learned she explains really well and gives a demo:)
I just did a gradient mani with this color and through the grapevine. It looks beautiful! I also really like wet cement and on a trip. I have a ton of these colors, just havent used them all…
I love Break the Ice and Haze of Love. One coat of Break the Ice is gorgeous over one coat of WnW French White Creme or one coat of Break the Ice with a coat of Revlon Runway Pearl on top. I like the look of creamy white polishes on others, but do not care for the look of white out nails on myself, so I opt for things with a little duochrome or microglitter effect when using whites or sheers. Haze of Love was my go-to for winter pedicures. I recently did a mani w/ Haze of Love on all fingers and an accent finger with a thin coat of Jewelry Heist (sp? Spoiled line) – really brought out that rose gold glitter. I was very surprised by how much fancier my manicure seemed with that accent finger done. I’m extremely impressed with WnW polishes. I have been a polish snob for a long time (Butter London, OPI, China Glaze, Orly), now I can get my polish fix on the cheap and I love it. I can get up to five days of wear out of the Spoiled and Megalast polishes, and that’s with caring for my three kids and keeping the house, etc.
Private viewing is pretty good I think :) Any tips on avoiding bubbles in polish? I try to roll and not shake, but a few seem to be pretty bubbly. Is it just the formula/brand? Also.. Wet-n-Wild Sunny Side Up with a layer of Sinful Colors Let’s Meet (orange/yellow sparkle) on top. You will Looooove it.
I meant to say my bubbly polish is a Rimmel and not the WnW we are talking about. I really love those!
I love Wet n Wild’s I need a refresh-mint. I just used it tonight. Left it just by itself but added an accent nail of Milani’s neon Fresh Teal. Love! Just picked up the WnW megalast in “through the grapevine,” I definitely think it needs something with it but not sure what yet. Love your blog & videos! ;)
I purchased the same colors just yesterday and I’m so excited to try them out! Plus, I got them on sale at Walgreens, so that just makes them that much better.
