I finally busted out my American Apparel polish in Army Jacket this weekend. This bottle was hanging out in my Untried Drawer for QUITE some time! The poor thing was laying on it’s back for weeks. American Apparel polishes are a bit odd, some of them have these pools of color that separate. The image on the right shows exactly what I’m talking about. The odd part is, I never have any of that weird streaking on the brush! It always comes out nice and opaque!
I think I knew subconsciously that this yellow-based green wouldn’t be a favorite on my skin tone (hence it’s position in the Untrieds for so long)!. Low and below, that is the case!
Though extremely opaque with a near flawless application- this olive green isn’t my favorite for everyday wear. I think it will be nice in some sort of rose nail art with accent leaves! I think I’ll keep it! Have a great one, hope you’re making the best of your day!
I thought this colour looked great on your nails Mary, in fact I was so curious to see what you used that I followed the link on your video (this is the first time I have done that).
I recently bought all 6 bottles of the newish for American autumn Zoya Designer range. Australia is in our first week of spring and I have never confined what I wear on my nails to the season so I am loving all of the Designer colours.
Have you seen the range or own any of the colours?

I actually like this for Fall….and I totally agree about AA polishes having pools of separated color. I noticed that as well. :)
