It’s Superbowl time! If I’m being honest here, (and why on earth wouldn’t I be!) I must mention I’m not even remotely interested in the sport! But an excuse to eat some party snacks and lounge around on a day off? OKAY!
My friend Stephanie (Flourishxo) posted cute nails on Instagram last night, inspired by another Youtuber, MissJenFabulous. I loved the idea of painting a little football on my nails so I decided to add a little accent to my ring finger!
I thought the half moon shape worked perfectly actually. I started off with a Julep polish in the color Sally I received in my February Maven box. I just love this color, it’s the closest I’ve seen to my favorite American Apparel Butter (sadly, discontinued). The formula was thick and somewhat streaky- and created a mess near the cuticle no matter how precise I was! That was a bit discouraging, but the color is lovely.
I then added the football with Misa Can’t Nobody Take Me Down, longest title ever. After that dried, I drew on the laces with Essie Blanc. Supercute for the Superbowl! Have a great evening!
